Roller Chain & Sprocket Parts Every chain & sprocket is connected at the ends to form a complete circle or chain & sprocket loop by a master connecting link. Cotter plates or spring clips keep the connecting link’s pins from working loose.Duty Plus #180 Cottered Roller Chain & SprocketThis #180 cottered roller chain & sprocket offers high strength, a long working life, and durability. Normal Standard Series roller chain & sprockets have shot peened and heat treated comp1nts that drastically increase the chain & sprockets strength, working life, and overall performance. This #180 cottered roller chain & sprocket has a10sile strength of 79,800lbs and is commonly supplied as 10ft boxes including 1 connecting link per box. But we also offer #180 cottered roller chain & sprocket at alternate lengths per request. This chain & sprocket uses cotter pins instead of rivets, the benefit of this is that the chain & sprocket is easier to install sections and eliminate the need of cutting the rivet pins. We offer additional connecting links and offset links for this chain & sprocket as well, which having a few of these on-hand can keep you out of a down situation and keep you up and running. Another thing that extra connecting links and offset links are good for is making those miscellaneous repairs that need to be d1 to keep you in operation.
